The Girls Aloud star currently lives in a palatial property in Surrey with her soccer player husband Ashley Cole, but is thinking of splashing out on a home in the capital to stay at when she is working.
Asked if she had ever thought of buying a London apartment, she replied: It’s looking more and more like that you know.
Cheryl is currently appearing as a judge on UK TV talent show The X Factor, and it is thought having a London home would make it easier for her to fit the show into her hectic work schedule.
She is also keen to cut down any unnecessary stress as she wants to start a family in the foreseeable future.
Cheryl has previously said: Having a baby is important to me because I am from a big family. I have friends who have put it off and I don't want to do that.
Preferably sooner rather than later. I'm not pregnant now. The chance would be a fine thing - I haven't been home!
