Tiger Woods started his romance with Lindsey Vonn with honesty. Insiders say the golfer shared everything about his past with Vonn, including the numerous affairs that led to his divorce from wife Elin Nordegren in 2010.
"He confessed everything in his past to her and stuff - they're really into each other," an insider tells Us Weekly magazine.
"They're a really happy couple -- not living together yet," the source adds.
Woods and the Olympic skier were first linked last November, but they just went public with the romance this week. In separate posts online on Monday, the couple confirmed that their friendship has evolved into a romantic relationship.
"I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy," Vonn, 28, wrote on her official Facebook page. "I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends."
Woods, 37, posted a message on his official website. "Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating,” he said. "We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
