David Beckham to Visit Each MLS City in LA Galaxy Uniform

Major League Soccer is fully prepared to capitalize on its latest import in attempts to bolster public attention to the U.S. league. While David Beckham has already drawn massive media coverage for his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy, the buzz will continue to get louder once he lands state-side and laces up his boots for action.

Beckham is still tied to football powerhouse Real Madrid of the Spanish league La Liga. His contract will expire June 30.

The one-time England squad captain will join his American side for the first time in exhibition matches against Mexico’s Chivas and Pachuca in late July and then travel to play FC Dallas as part of the SuperLiga.

For Dallas, it will be their only opportunity to see Beckham unless the two sides meet in the post season. Every other MLS city will have the chance to see the star play in their home stadium.

Beckham will more than likely play his first regular season game for the Galaxy on August 5 at Toronto. For those cities without an MLS club there will be plenty of chances to watch Beckham on TV. The Los Angeles Galaxy are scheduled to have 16 of their final 17 games nationally televised.
