Chrysanthemum Software LLC has announced the launch of its new PickMyFlix™ smartphone application. - a free app that allows moviegoers to flag movie trailers which impress them, and then receive email alerts when these films reach local theater screens.
The free app is available for both Apple and Android smartphones, and is distributed in both the Apple iTunes Store and the Google Play Store.

A companion website makes available additional information on each selected film including media reviews, a personal blog for adding your own reviews, and the ability to add to or modify your account selections and content - all from your smartphone, tablet or PC.
The software likewise provides movie producers, movie distributors and theater owners a way to gauge consumer sentiment towards particular movie trailers. It also allows movie theaters to reach out to the potential audience with promotions, previews and incentive.
