Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly parted ways for the second time in less than a year. People magazine reports the pair, who first began dating last summer, has not been spotted together for several weeks despite them both being in L.A. An insider confirms Mayer, 35, and Perry, 28, have called it quits.
Neither Mayer nor Perry has commented on the rumors. Mayer opened up about the romance last month to CBS News Sunday Morning, saying, "I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. For the first time in my life I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. I really don't. I'm not in a high profile -- I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain... I'm saying that for me it feels like something that's very human."
Perry and Mayer’s first split came last August. The separation was brief and they seemed closer than ever; they spent the Christmas holidays with Perry’s family, went house hunting together in January and Mayer gave Perry a ruby ring in February.
