Leah Messer says husband Jeremy Calvert had no problem adjusting to fatherhood. Calvert became a first time dad last month when the Teen Mom star gave birth to daughter Adalynn Faith.
“I have to give him 100 percent props,” she tells Us Weekly magazine. “At first, he was nervous to hold the baby because she as so tiny. But he adjusted really well. He changes poppy diapers; he does it all!”
Messer is also getting plenty of help from her 3-year-old twin daughters with ex-husband Corey Simms. "They were trying to pick her up and carry her around," Messer says of Aleeah and Aliannah. "We had to put a stop to that! I think they get the concept now."
Messer tells Us her new daughter is “such a blessing” because of the miscarriage she suffered last year. “She’s such a blessing, because it was really hard for us to lose our first child,” she says. “So she’s very, very spoiled.”
“She looks like her daddy,” adds Messer “She might have my eyes, but her nose, cheeks and mouth all look like Jeremy’s.”
