Kate Upton Responds To High School Senior’s Prom Proposal

It looks like Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton has her next gig – high school prom. The 20-year-old was invited to prom by high school senior Jake Davidson in a charming Youtube video. The video went viral and eventually got to Upton, who first responded to Davidson via Twitter.

"How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)" she wrote.

In the video, Davidson says he is giving Upton the chance to “make a nice guy’s senior year the best ever.” "I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day –- and I can't dance. At all," he jokes. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny. It would mean the world to me if you came and I would do anything to make sure you get here."

Wednesday morning on the Today Show, Davidson got to speak with Upton over the phone. "I absolutely love the video," Upton said. “It was so hilarious and so creative. Thank you so much for doing that, I really appreciate it."

"This just got so much better now that you're on the phone. I'm telling you it will be a great night, great evening –- I could even get the curfew extended hopefully by my parents maybe. We could go to a great dinner before. I hope you'd be interested if your schedule is free, and what time should I pick you up if you are interested?" Davidson asked.

"I definitely have to check my schedule, but you seem like so much fun and if everything works out, I'd love to go with you," Upton replied. "I know we'd have a blast."
