NV Energy, Inc., formerly Sierra Pacific Resources, is an investor-owned holding company. The Company has six primary, wholly owned subsidiaries: Nevada Power Company (NPC), NV Energy, Sierra Pacific Power Company (SPPC), Sierra Pacific Communications, Sierra Pacific Energy Company, and Lands of Sierra.
