NBA Scores from Feb. 12; Carmelo Anthony, Chris Webber, and Mehmet Okur lead their teams to wins.
The Detroit Pistons (32-18) used a balanced attack to beat the poor shooting Los Angeles Clippers (25-27) 92-74. Chris Webber led the Pistons with 19 points and 9 rebounds while Richard Hamilton finished with 15 points and 5 assists. Cuttino Mobley led the Clippers with 17 points but LA shot just 32 percent from the floor.
Carmelo Anthony finished with 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead the Denver Nuggets (26-24) past the Golden State Warriors (24-29) 123-111. J.R. Smith added 28 points for the Nuggets and Steve Blake had 13 assists to go with his 8 points. Al Harrington led the Warriors with 24 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.
Mehmet Okur had 19 points and 6 rebounds while Deron Williams finished with 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead the Utah Jazz (34-17) past the Atlanta Hawks (20-31) 102-76. The Jazz out-rebounded Atlanta 52-32 on the night and shot 46 percent from beyond the three-point line. Marvin Williams led the Hawks with 15 points.
