Gunman Kills Five in Utah Mall Shooting

A man entered the Trolley Square mall in Salt Lake City, Utah Monday night and began shooting at random shoppers until he was finally shot and killed by police.

At least five shoppers were killed while another four were injured in the inexplicable act.

Police Detective Robin Snyder confirmed “We have six fatalities and multiple victims at hospitals.” Three of those injured were listed as critical.
 
As the man began firing, several shoppers ran for the cover of open stores and remained hidden until police cleared the area. Witnesses reported hearing up to 20 shots fired, with the terror ending on a police bullet striking the gunman while he was trying to hide ina children’s clothing store.
