Registered dietitian, Jayson Hunter reveals his top three foods to include in your healthy weight loss diet to help you lose fat. He believes that losing weight is important, but losing it in a healthy way is even more important.

 

Hunter explains, “A healthy weight loss diet usually gives the one the impression of strict diets or one of those fad diets which restrict intake of certain foods. But, a healthy weight loss diet is in fact totally opposite to what most people think. It includes eating all foods in the right proportions to lose weight in a balanced and structured way”. He adds, “These foods when included in your healthy weight loss diet directly aid the process of weight loss and also improve your overall health in the long run”.

 

Here are Hunter’s top three foods to include in your healthy weight loss diet:

 

1) Beans – These are a fantastic source of protein, vitamins and fiber. They are especially good for vegetarians who do not get their regular in take of proteins through meat and other foods. Try to avoid baked and fried beans since they contain a lot of unhealthy fats.

 

2) Oatmeal –  Oatmeal in your healthy weight loss diet can really help you burn fat and lose weight.

 

3) Olive Oil – Cooking foods with olive oil is healthier compared to cooking with regular cooking oil. Foods made with olive oil contain good fats which the body needs. Foods made with olive oil in your healthy weight loss diet will help you burn fat.
