It can help you lose weight and remain healthy at the same time. Registered dietitian Jayson Hunter offers three tips to help you develop and create a healthy weight loss diet plan for yourself. He believes that the key to long term sustainable weight loss is a healthy weight loss diet plan.

 

Hunter explains, “A healthy weight loss diet plan is the way to go when it comes to losing weight and maintaining your health and fitness at the same time”. He adds, “A healthy weight loss diet plan makes sure that your body gets the required amount of nutrients and also helps you avoid foods which will make you add weight”.

 

Here are three of Hunter’s tips for a healthy weight loss diet plan:

 

1) Drink lots of water – Water is a zero calorie drink. More than 70% of the human body is water. By drinking about 8-10 glasses a water a day, one cleanses the system of toxins and it also helps to curb your appetite.

 

2) Fruits and vegetables – Ensure that you include about 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables a day in your healthy weight loss diet plan. Fruits and veges are loaded with vitamins and minerals including fiber to help you lose weight.

 

3) Eat early and eat more frequently – Eating right before sleeping can make you put on weight. Try to eat your meal at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed at night. This will help you avoid putting on any excess weight.
