Purple Heart Service Foundation Debuts New Feature On Interactive Website to Include In-House Digital Publishing's FlipBook Technology

Oct. 16, 2009 - The Purple Heart Service Foundation announced it is debuting FlipBook Technology on the redesigned website to launch November 11th - Veterans Day.

“We want to make sure every visitor to our site is welcomed and well informed of the many programs and services that the Purple Heart Service Foundation offers veterans, ” said Ken Smith, Chief Technology Officer who oversaw the redesign project.  “To accomplish our redesign tasks, we listened to suggestions from veterans, current donors and other visitors to the website to make it as easy as possible to reach us and to get the information they need to support our veterans.  As a result, the Foundation website has been redesigned and Aglaia Software was part of the solution."

The Purple Heart Service Foundation web site has been in “soft launch” for the past month while the new design is being tested and refined.  Smith anticipates additional changes to the site based on additional feedback and usage patterns. This new flip book feature will add an interactive dimension that we believe will be of great value to our visitors.

IHDP and ePaperflip co-founder Hila Moverman said, “This is an important partnership for us, we felt strongly about making this software available for the Purple Heart Foundation, and are encouraged to know that information presentation and veteran student education will be positively impacted”.
