Beyonce to Appear on Cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition
Beyonce is set to join an exclusive club of beauties who have adorned the cover of the popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The 25-year-old singer/actress will become just the second African-American model to grace the cover, Tyra Banks was the first.
The “Dreamgirls” star and former Destiny’s Child singer will forever have her name linked to a list of past cover models that include Elle McPherson, Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Heidi Klum, Rachel Hunter, Paula Porizkova, Cheryl Tiegs and Valeria Mazza.
Beyonce will be appearing in a yellow-and-pink bikini designed by House of Dereon. It is the same label Beyonce started with her mother, Tina Knowles.
In 2004 Beyonce won five Grammy Awards statues.
