Cory Monteith is not the only Glee star in the news this week. Heather Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany on the Fox show, is making headlines for a rumored pregnancy. Insiders tell Us Weekly magazine the 26-year-old is expecting her first child with longtime love Taylor Hubbell. Morris is said to be more than 3 months into her pregnancy.
"She's a little more than three months along and starting to show,” says a source. "It was totally unexpected, but they are incredibly happy and excited.”
A baby is not the only thing in the couple’s near future. A second insider says Morris and Hubbell will likely tie the knot soon. "I see it in their future,” the insider tells Us Weekly.
Morris has not commented on the reports.
Earlier this week, Montieth made headlines for entering rehab for addiction treatment. Deadline.com reports he will miss filming the last two episodes of the current Glee season. His absence will be written into his character’s storyline.
Fox offered their support to Monteith in a statement. "Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment," the network said. “Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return.”
