GunControlVote.com Releases New Numbers on Public Opinion

Gun Control forum now shows gun control vote ‘neck and neck’ with approximately 1700 votes each. 2nd Amendment supporters slightly ahead.

GunControlVote.com is announcing that its new website, which provides an open forum to visitors on the gun control issue in America, shows the voting almost even. Those who support the Second Amendment “Right to Bear Arms” are slightly ahead at the moment.

The elementary school shootings that took place in Newtown, CT last December of 2012, have sharply divided Americans on the issue of gun control. Since the shootings, a number of hot debates have taken place and there seems to be no middle ground. Most people are either radically for or against the implementation of stronger gun control measures.

This week, in a speech by President Obama, the president reminded everyone of the commitment that all Americans made after the Newtown tragedy, saying, “The entire country was shocked, and the entire country pledged we would do something about it and that this time would be different. Shame on us if we've forgotten. I haven't forgotten those kids. Shame on us if we've forgotten.”

The president addressed a group from the East Room of the Whitehouse, along with a group of mothers who have lost children to gun violence. His comments have again stirred up the controversy by reminding everyone that Americans must not forget about their commitment to the children who have been lost to gun violence.

The GunControlVote.com website is impartial and does not take sides on these issues, but they do provide an open forum for discussion. They offer items like gun control pins, tee-shirts and bumper stickers for those who are in favor of stronger gun control, as well as those who are 2nd Amendment supporters.

These controversial issues have been in the news more in the last six months because of the Sandy Hook and Colorado Theater shootings. Obama is also proposing a ban on the sale of assault weapons, along with some other measures that will make it harder for the mentally unstable to buy a gun.

Those who would like to make their voice heard can do so at the Guncontrolvote.com website. Site visitors can view real-time results of the latest polls and purchase products to show their support either way. The forums are free and open to anyone and they allow Americans to express their opinion and talk about this controversial issue.
