The Best Online Candidate Attraction from CV-Library

More success for CV-Library as they scoop up the esteemed Creative Online Marketing Award for the second year running, at the OnRec Awards 2013.

The online job board is renowned for its serious online growth and candidate attraction; with over 6 million candidates registered, CV-Library is the UK’s leading CV database. Their innovative online advertising campaigns, re-targeting strategies, partner network and new marketing plans have all contributed to winning this award.

Lee Biggins, Managing Director of CV-Library: “Innovation and growth within the recruitment market is highly competitive and a challenge for everyone. We’ve worked hard over the last 24 months to push the CV-Library brand and become a stronger job board than ever before.

“While everyone in the industry is chasing the passive traffic, we have been focusing a lot of our efforts on attracting the active job seekers. These are the candidates that are actually searching and applying to our clients’ jobs and leading to hundreds of successful recruitment campaigns.”

Attracting a strong candidate base to your job board is central to supporting clients’ recruitment campaigns and CV-Library has got this spot on. In January, close to 300,000 new CVs were uploaded to their database, ranging across over 70 different sectors. This has led to the recent increase in job applications with over 1.5 million being recorded monthly.

Their partner network has continued to grow at a rapid rate throughout 2012 and it’s still the backbone of their traffic strategies. The niche domains cover a selection of targeted sectors and locations, ensuring every vacancy posted receives the best coverage possible. This growth has led to a focus on the site’s SEO, and the marketing team has recently welcomed a second SEO expert to support this function.

The job board was shortlisted for four other awards on this occasion, a true reflection of their presence within the online recruitment sector. These awards included; Creative Offline Marketing Campaign, Best Online Candidate Experience and the Technical Innovation Award.

CV-Library has also been shortlisted for the Best Job Board category in the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2013. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Wednesday 1st May.
