McGraw-Hill Companies Announces Agreement to Sell BusinessWeek to Bloomberg L.P.

McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) have announced the agreement to sell BusinessWeek to Bloomberg L.P. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2009. The terms of agreement were not disclosed. The transaction will enable McGraw-Hill Companies to focus on building the size, scale and global presence of its leading brands throughout additional markets in financial services, education and business information.
