Richard Suttmeier’s latest post,”Housing and Banking Set to Lead Another Economic Wave Lower”, summarizes comments on the Housing and Banking Sectors by Elizabeth Warren, the Top Cop of the Congressional Oversight Panel, and Bank Failure Friday resumes.
Suttmeier draws comparisons in the risks that both he and Elizabeth Warren have been talking about in relation to Housing and Banking since April 2006. Both Warren and Suttmeier agree that the housing market is getting worse not better as foreclosures go up 5% in the third quarter. With foreclosures outpacing mortgage modifications two to one, one can expect to see ten to twelve million foreclosures by the time “The Great Credit Crunch” ends.
To add fuel to the flame, Bank Failure Friday returned with the 99th failure of the year after a week off.
