Jenna Jameson may face battery charges for an alleged weekend assault at her home in Newport Beach, California. Jameson, 38, was taken into custody Saturday evening after an unidentified person called police claiming they had been attacked by the former porn star. The person placed Jameson under citizen’s arrest until officers arrived to take her to Newport Beach Police Jail.
Jameson, who is currently on informal probation for a May 2012 DUI arrest, was released from jail without bail. She was given a court date before her release. Jameson will be officially charged with misdemeanor battery if prosecutors can gather sufficient evidence for the charge. Her rep has not commented.
Soon after the incident, Jameson tweeted that a friend had "broke into my home and took everything." She later deleted the tweet.
Jameson retired from porn in 2008. She has 4-year-old twin sons with ex-boyfriend Tito Ortiz.
