Lantiq has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Home Networking and DSL related assets and intellectual property from Aware Inc. (NASDAQ: AWRE). Lantiq has announced the establishment of a technical competence center in Mass. Aware and Lantiq share a long term partnership in the DSL DMT space. Aware and Lantiq will continue to maintain close cooperation in the embedded wireline diagnostics area. The close of the transaction is expected by the end of 2009.
