Lindsay Lohan: Rehab Is A Blessing, Not A Curse

For Lindsay Lohan, another trip to rehab is a welcome blessing. The troubled actress appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman Tuesday tonight and was grilled about her past troubles, which include theft cases, addition, and court-ordered rehab stints. After enduring Letterman’s jokes, Lohan got serious about her upcoming 3 month stint in rehab.

“How many times have you been in rehab?” asked Letterman.

“Several,” Lohan replied.

"And how will this time be different?" Letterman continued. "What are they rehabbing, first of all? What is on their list? What are they going to work on when you walk through the door?"

"To be honest, I'm happiest when I'm working – the healthiest," said Lohan. "I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life. And I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's a blessing and not a curse.”

Letterman later praised Lohan for being willing to handle his jokes. "We never thought we'd see you again, honestly ... Yet you have enough spine, enough sense of yourself, enough poise, to come out here and talk to me,” he said.

Lohan ended the interview with a joke of her own. After sipping from a mud on Letterman’s desk, she said, “Oh, I thought this was going to be vodka. Shucks!"
