Miranda Kerr is putting away her angel wings, Us Weekly magazine reports. According to multiple sources, Kerr will no longer be a Victoria’s Secret Angel as her 3 year contract with the brand “was not renewed” after its recent expiration. Multiple reasons were behind the decision, with two of the biggest being Kerr is “not a big seller for VS” and she has a “difficult reputation.”
"They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn't have to be an Angel to do that," an insider tells Us Weekly.
Kerr has not commented. Chief marketing officer Ed Razek refused to comment on her status as an Angel, but did say Victoria’s Secret has “no plans to stop working with her.” Razek also said Kerr has been invited to walk in the 2013 show.
Kerr, 30, is married to actor Orland Bloom, 36. They have a 2-year-old son together named Flynn.
