The latest report coming out of the Kardashian rumor mill is that Kim Kardashian is trying to gain as much weight as possible during her pregnancy so she can get more money in a post-pregnancy diet deal. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is said to be fully supporting the plan because she would get a percentage of the deal as Kim’s manager.
“She knows what she’s doing by showing off her heavier figure and stuffing her face in public,” a source says of Kim. “The more she looks heavy and out of control with her eating, the more she will be worth. Everything Kim does is on purpose.”
“The way diet company deals are structured, bonuses are often built in for losing more weight in a shorter period of time,” another source notes.
Kardashian, 32, has not commented. She is currently about 6 months pregnant. The baby will be her first child with boyfriend Kanye West.
Up next for Kardashian is her divorce trial with estranged husband Kris Humphries. In February, Superior Court judge Scott Gordon set a May 6 trial date. Kardashian filed for divorce in October 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. Humphries has accused her of marrying him for publicity and is demanding an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
