Orlando Brown, an actor who is perhaps best known for starring alongside Raven Symone on the Disney show That’s So Raven, was arrested over the weekend for drunk driving. The 25-year-old was busted on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood just before midnight on Sunday, April 7. Brown has not commented.
The actor remains in jail due to a $26,000 arrest warrant linked to his 2011 DUI charge. According to reports, he failed to appear in court 3 different times in the case. The last no-show happened in October 2012.
Brown’s first run-in with the law happened in 2007 in Texas. He was originally pulled over for driving with his light off, but a search of the car uncovered 9 grams of marijuana. Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana. After his arrest he claimed that the car was borrowed and he did not have any knowledge of the drugs.
In 2008, Brown made headlines when he disappeared upon leaving his manager’s home in Studio City. He turned up after two days and apologized for his disappearance. He said he "felt a little lost and needed to get away” after a problem involving a performance at a Los Angeles club.
