The San Francisco 49ers will likely start rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree on Sunday when they face the Houston Texans.
Crabtree missed San Francisco’s first five games after a contract holdout left him as the only first-round selection left unsigned. The former Texas Tech standout finally inked a deal with San Fran two weeks ago and is expected to be starting opposite Isaac Bruce on Sunday.
San Francisco currently sits atop the NFC West at 3-2 and has wins over divisional opponents Arizona and Seattle. Crabtree is seen as a major piece of the 49ers future and should have an immediate impact on the offense.
