A MEDICAL DETOX COULD HAVE SAVED DJ AM

Yet Another Celebrity Drug Overdose

The New York medical examiner's office stated that celebrity disc jockey and Los Angeles club owner Adam Goldstein—DJ AM--- died from an accidental drug overdose caused by a combination of cocaine, Vicodin, oxycodone, Ativan, Klonopin and Xanax.

Steve Hayes, Director of Novus Medical Detox Center in Florida, says, “We have had patients who were taking similar cocktails of drugs.  They came to Novus and within ten to fourteen days they were safely off of these drugs and ready to take the next step toward freedom from drugs.  Mr. Goldstein had conquered drug addiction in the past but these deadly prescription drugs were more than he could handle alone.”

Mr. Hayes continued, “If someone wants to safely stop taking prescription drugs they should only do so under the care of a doctor or at a facility like Novus Medical Detox Center with round-the-clock nursing care, cutting edge medical protocols, and a warm and comfortable home-like environment.”
