Duane “Dog” Chapman has become the hunted after a federal court in Guadalajara, Mexico ruled that the famous bounty hunter should be extradited.
In a statement issued from Chapman and his wife, Beth, the couple said "We only just heard about the Mexican court's decision to continue with the extradition proceedings, and are still in shock."
“Dog,” along with his son and another associate, were arrested September 14 for “deprivation of liberty” in relation to their capture of Andrew Luster in Puerto Vallarta.
Chapman, 53, caught up with the convicted rapist in 2003 after Luster jumped bond during his trail for drugging and raping three women.
According to Mexican law bounty hunting is illegal. Chapman is facing up to four years in prison if convicted. He is currently free on $300,000 bail.
