Malin Akerman is a mom! The actress gave birth Tuesday to a healthy baby boy named Sebastian. The baby is her first child with husband Roberto Zincone. Akerman, 34, announced Sebastian’s birth on Twitter.
“My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!! #lovemykid,” the proud new mom wrote.
“PS and his name is … Sebastian Zincone :) )) Love him more than life itself!! #whatafeeling!!!” she added.
Akerman announced her pregnancy last September. The following month she told Us Weekly magazine that Zincone was “so excited” to become a father. "We've been together long enough, we've talked about it enough that it just feels really right and we can't wait,” she said.
The couple met in 2003 while in the rock band The Petalstones. Akerman was the lead singer and Zincone was the drummer. They wed four years later in Sorrento, Italy.
Akerman most recently starred in Stolen and Rock of Ages. She will star next opposite John Cusack in The Numbers Station.
