Alando Tucker scored just 3 points in the first half but finished with 22 points and 6 rebounds as the #3 Wisconsin Badgers (26-2) beat the Penn State Nittany Lions (10-15) 75-49 in Big-Ten conference play.
The Badgers went into the half with a 36-25 lead and used a 10-0 run midway through the second half to put the game away.
Aided by 12-23 shooting beyond the three-point line and 50 percent shooting overall, Wisconsin moved to 12-1 in conference play, ½ game ahead of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Penn State dropped to 1-11 in the Big-Ten.
Kammron Taylor finished with 18 points and Jason Bohannon ended the day with 11 as the Badgers won their fifth straight since losing to the Indiana Hoosiers 71-66 on Jan. 31.
Geary Claxton led the Nittany Lions with 15 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.
