Kris Humphries is reportedly willing to drop his annulment bid and grant Kim Kardashian a divorce if she will apologize in court and in a public statement. An insider says the Brooklyn Nets star wants to see a change of attitude in Kardashian before he agrees to settle the divorce to avoid a trial.
“Kris has never said he won’t settle, but he has certain conditions and terms that he wants Kim to agree to that don’t include money,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “If Kim comes into court with an attitude and acting full of herself, Kris will absolutely take this to trial.”
“Put simply, if Kim were to formally apologize to Kris in court tomorrow — and if he felt it were sincere — he would likely agree to end the marriage and avoid the trial,” reveals the source.
The pair is due in court Friday for a settlement conference. If they can’t reach a settlement, their divorce trial will start on May 6.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries in October 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. Humphries has accused her of marrying him for publicity. He wants an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
Kardashian is currently 6 months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Kanye West.
