Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth will not be walking down the aisle any time soon, according to an insider. The couple has decided to put summer wedding plans on hold as they “figure out” life.
"They want to figure out their life together before they get married," the source tells People magazine. "They're still engaged and living together. They just realized that there is no rush with the wedding and that it's better that they wait a bit."
Cyrus’ father Billy Ray Cyrus recently expressed his doubts that the wedding will ever happen. “I don’t know (if they will get married). I really don’t. I play it by ear and I know whatever is meant to be, that’s the way it’s going to happen,” he said.
Hemsworth, 23, proposed to Cyrus, 20, with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane ring last May. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus told People magazine at the time.
