A western Baghdad coffee shop popular among young Iraqis was the target of a bombing Thursday night. More than two dozen people were killed.
Officials say someone detonated explosives around 10 p.m. local time inside the Dubai Café, which is on the third floor of a 3 story building in the al-Amriya neighborhood. The other two floors house an ice cream shop and medical offices. At least 32 people died and about 60 others were injured. The dead included 4 children and a woman.
"It was a huge blast. Part of the building fell in and debris hit people shopping in the mall below,” an official told Reuters.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
