Chris Douglas-Roberts lay-up with 5.6 seconds remaining in overtime lifted the #8 Memphis Tigers (23-3) over the Gonzaga Bulldogs (18-10) 78-77.
Joey Dorsey Led the Tigers with 15 points and 12 rebounds while Robert Dozier finished with 14 points and 5 boards.
Memphis looked as if they would handle the Bulldogs without much of a problem as they built an 11-point lead in the second half but they eased up defensively and Gonzaga managed to climb back. With a minute remaining in regulation Jeremy Pargo hit a jumped for the Bulldogs to tie the score at 69-69, sending the game to overtime.
The Bulldogs hopes of an upset were smashed when Douglas-Roberts cut through the lane in overtime and scooped in the winning bucket.
Derek Raivio led Gonzaga with 21 points and Pargo finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
