Fund.com (FNDM.OB) CEO Greg Webster Discusses the Success of the DENT Tactical ETF (NYSE: DENT)
AdvisorShares Investments, LLC first product, the DENT Tactical ETF (NYSE: DENT), traded over one million shares in the first four days of its launch, making it the largest and fastest growing actively managed ETF in existence. A majority-owned subsidiary of Fund.com (OTC BB: FNDM), AdvisorShares Investments, LLC, is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) development platform. Using AdvisorShares SEC-granted exemptive relief, Fund.com seeks to establish a series of actively managed ETFs.
Five weeks since DENT’s inception, Fund.com CEO Greg Webster had this to say: “The DENT Tactical was successful for a couple of reasons, the first being that AdvisorShares did a great job in collaborating with the Dent organization to bring something unique and compelling to the market. Secondly, the Dent Organization has a tremendous following which positioned the visibility of the product within that advisor network.”
Webster brings over twenty years of management experience to Fund.com. Before joining the company, he was President and CEO of HSBC Brokerage (USA) Inc., one of the largest banks in the world. Before joining HSBC, he led the Guardian Life Insurance Company in the formation and SEC Registration of Park Avenue Securities, LLC.
The skills Webster brings with a background in the financial services, brokerage and insurance industries to Fund.com is formidable, and will no doubt aid the company in establishing itself as a leader in the financial services sector.
Harry S. Dent Jr., one of the managers of the DENT Tactical ETF, will be featured in the upcoming winter issue of EQUITIES Magazine.
