Jenelle Evans is behind bars once again for assault and drug offenses. The troubled Teen Mom star was arrested Tuesday at her North Carolina home for domestic assault against her husband Courtland Rogers, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Percocet without a prescription, and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute. Evans was also served with a warrant for failing to pay child support for her 3-year-old son Jace.
Police have also confirmed Rogers was arrested for assault and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute.
TMZ reports police were called to Evans’ home for a domestic dispute. A search uncovered 12 small packets of heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia that included a glass smoking pipe. Both Evans, 21, and Rogers, 27, denied the drugs were theirs. The assault charges stem from accusations that Evans hit Rogers with a piece of furniture and Rogers struck Evans on her head and neck with his fist.
Last month on her Sulia page, Evans insisted that she no longer has a drug problem. "I simply feel as if I didn't need to go to treatment if my problem isn't drugs anymore, and never will be again. I need individual counseling and therapy if anything for being addicted to relationships. I can honestly admit this about myself and can't seem to help it unless I continue to get the help I need through therapy,” she wrote.
