Bachelor Sean Lowe’s vow of celibacy was made up for the sake of the show and his parents, according to an insider. In the new issue of Life and Style magazine, the source claims Lowe and fiancé Catherine Giudici “definitely had sex” before getting engaged.
“Yes, they definitely had sex,” says the source. “The first time was the night he proposed in Thailand.”
It seems getting intimate before marriage is a requirement for Giudici. “Catherine has always respected Sean wanting to show his Christian side, but she honestly would never marry him without making sure they had sexual chemistry,” the insider tells Life and Style. “It’s all for the show and his parents.”
After the season finale of The Bachelor last month, the couple told People magazine they would wait until after their wedding to get intimate. "From my perspective, I've lived life kind of selfishly for a long time. Now, I'm going to try to live it the way I know to be right,” explained Lowe, who is a Christian.
"I honor him," Giudici added.
