Ray Liotta was arrested early Sunday morning after he slammed his sports utility vehicle into two parked cars near his Pacific Palisades home. Nobody was hurt in the incidents but Liotta struck a Cadillac Escalade hard enough to knock it onto the curb.
The 52-year-old actor was arrested by police for suspicion of driving under the influence. Initial reports have indicated that it was not alcohol that was in Liotta’s system.
Liotta was booked on a misdemeanor charge and released after posting a $15,000 bond. The actor has had a court hearing date set for March 19th.
Liotta won an Emmy in 2005 for his guest role on the show “ER.” He is currently staring in “Smokin’ Aces” with Ben Affleck. Liotta’s film credits include “Field of Dreams” with Kevin Costner, “Goodfellas” with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Paul Sorvino, “Hannibal” with Anthony Hopkins, and “Blow” with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
