About three months after their holiday engagement, Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfiled have made their union official. A rep says Gilbert and Busfield exchanged vows in a small ceremony on Wednesday. The wedding was held in Santa Barbara at San Ysidro Ranch, the site of Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie’s 2010 wedding.
The former Little House on the Prairie star wore a strapless red gown and carried a bouquet of matching red flowers. Busfield sported a traditional tux. This is the third marriage for both – Gilbert, 48, was previously married to Bo Brinkman and Bruce Boxleitner while the 55-year-old Thirtysomething actor was previously married to Jenny Merwin and Radha Delamarter.
Busfield popped the question over the holidays and Gilbert’s rep confirmed the engagement in January. "They are engaged and both are incredibly happy," Gilbert’s rep told People magazine.
“They've known each other for quite some time, as their paths have crossed off-and-on over the past 20 years,” a source added.
