Danica Patrick’s split from husband Paul Hospenthal is official. An Arizona judge signed off on their divorce last week, putting a legal end to the pair’s 7 year marriage. A prenuptial agreement was in place. Patrick has not commented.
The NASCAR driver announced the divorce last November on her official Facebook page. "I am sad to inform my fans that after seven years, Paul and I have decided to amicably end our marriage," she wrote. "This isn't easy for either of us, but mutually it has come to this. He has been an important person and friend in my life and that's how we will remain moving forward."
Patrick, 31, married Hospenthal, 48, in 2005 after a 1 year engagement. They met when Patrick underwent therapy at Hospenthal’s physical therapy practice.
Patrick has already moved on from Hospenthal. She has been openly dating fellow NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
