Midwest Hard Rock Act "Paisty Jenny" Recording New Album With Renown Music Producer Sylvia Massy

Direct Hit Records recently announced its emerging hard rock act "Paisty Jenny" has entered Loud Palace in Weed, CA to record their next full length album.

The new record, with its title yet to be chosen, is expected to be the very best offering from this energetic, hard-working, touring rock band.

With three successful records already under their belt, Detours, Spilling Mercury and Head in a Haze, Paisty Jenny's approach to the new full-length is taking the process of making a record to soaring new heights with the engagement of acclaimed music producer Sylvia Massy at the helm.

Massy's credits are wide ranged and extremely impressive. She is perhaps best recognized for her work on 1993's Undertow, the full-length double platinum-selling debut for Los Angeles rock band Tool and her works on System of a Down's debut album. The repertoire of star and icon artists that Massy has worked with is huge and essentially endless.

The new disc is also being co-produced by accomplished music producer and engineer Michael Beck who presided over the production duties on the band's third successful release, Head in a Haze. The single from that EP, Anything, was remixed by Interscope Records founder Beau Hill, and later re-released. It debuted at #3 for most adds on the FMQB's Hot A/C chart, while entering the chart at #199 in first week and reaching #80 for spins in 4 weeks.

All and all, Paisty Jenny is definitely making major foot roads in their quest to become a national rock sensation, as they well deserve to be. Direct Hit's hiring of Sylvia Massy to produce and mix this newest record from the band is obvious proof that they are not messing around.

A release date for the record has not yet been determined by the label, but will be announced once decided. For more on Paisty Jenny, and to learn about the release date of the new full-length CD, keep up to date at the band's online press kit.
