Hittite Microwave Corporation (NASDAQ:HITT) rallied 6.68% to $39.90 on a high volume of 241k shares after it announced that for the fourth quarter of 2009, it expects revenue to be in the range of $42.5 to $43.5 million and net income to be in the range of $11.3 to $12.3 million, or $0.38 to $0.41 per diluted share. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report earnings per share (EPS) of $0.37 and net profit of $11.1 million on revenue of $42.0 million for the same period. Today the stock also created a new 52-week high at $40.75.
