Gold Companies Rose in Wednesday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top gold companies moved up in Wednesday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies all rose by noon in trading:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) rose 7 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $38.00.

Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 22 cents, or 1.6 percent, to $14.40.

Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose 1 cent, or 0.1 percent, to $40.74.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose 29 cents, or .6 percent, to $45.81.
