Passenger Trains Collide in Egypt, at least 15 People Killed

A pair of passenger trains collided near the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Saturday killing at least 15 people and leaving more than 20 injured.

 

According to reports both trains had been on the same track heading south of Cairo but when one of the trains stopped unexpectedly the second slammed into the back, causing several cars to overturn.

 

Rescue crews are still trying to reach victims trapped in the wreckage and the death toll is expected to rise.
