NFL Scores: Peyton Manning Keeps Indianapolis Colts Perfect, Drops St. Louis Rams to 0-7 on Season

Peyton Manning was 23/34 passing for 235 yards and three touchdowns, Reggie Wayne had 83 yards receiving and a TD and Jacob Lacey returned an interception 35-yards for a score as the Indianapolis Colts (6-0) went on the road and crushed the St. Louis Rams (0-7) 42-6 on Sunday.

Manning got things going in the first quarter as he found Wayne on a 6-yard touchdown toss for an early 7-0 lead. After the Rams answered with a Josh Brown 30-yard field goal Manning countered with a 27-yard touchdown strike to Dallas Clark and the Colts carried a 14-3 advantage into the second.

Joseph Addai would provide the only points of the second frame as the Colts running back scored on a 6-yard run and Indy headed into the half in front 21-3.

The Rams tried to climb back into the game in the third and Brown added a second field goal to get St. Louis within 21-6. Those hopes of a comeback all but expired four minutes later as Jacob Lacey picked off Marc Bulger and went 35-yards for a touchdown to push the lead to 28-6.

Manning would toss his third touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter when he found Austin Collie on an 8-yarder and following a Rams turnover Chad Simpson wrapped up the scoring with a31-yard touchdown run.

St. Louis was just 4-13 on third down conversions while the Colts were 8-12.
