NFL Scores: Green Bay Packers Rout Cleveland Browns as Aaron Rodgers Tosses 3 TDs

Aaron Rodgers was 15/20 passing for 246 yards and three touchdowns, Ryan Grant rushed for 148 yards and a TD on 27 carries and Donald Driver had a pair of receptions for 84 yards and a score as the Green Bay Packers (4-2) went on the road and embarrassed the Cleveland Browns (1-6) 31-3 on Sunday.

After a scoreless first quarter the Browns managed to put the first points of the game on the board in the second as Billy Cundiff kicked a 22-yard field goal for a 3-0 lead. From that point on it was all Packers as Rodgers answered the field goal with a 45-yard touchdown pass to Spencer Havner and five minutes later he hit Driver on a 71-yard TD toss and Green Bay was up 14-3. That was extended to 21-3 just before the half when Ryan Grant pounded in a score from a yard out and Cleveland was buried in a deep hole.

Cleveland’s offense continued to stall throughout the third quarter and they fell behind 24-3 after Mason Crosby connected on an 18-yard chip late in the frame.

Rodgers would finish off the scoring for Green Bay midway through the fourth quarter when he found James Jones on a 5-yard pass to push the advantage to 31-3.

Cleveland’s Derek Anderson continued to struggle at the quarterback position, completing just 12/29 passes for 99 yards and an interception. Anderson didn’t get much help from the running game as the Browns managed just 58 yards on the ground.
