The Balancing Act is Taking "Stock" in their Show— as they Welcome Kitchen Basics to the Program!

Cooking— the Healthy Way...

Eat healthy!  To most of us those words are really saying… Eat cardboard!  We’ve come a long way since the cardboard days of healthy foods—and the way we cook them.  To prove this point The Balancing Act has invited Kitchen Basics to the show.

If you think eating healthy foods is hard to swallow--  here are some staggering figures that are also—hard to swallow. An estimated 70-million Americans have at least one form of heart disease and over 65-percent of American adults over age 20 are overweight or obese.

With these figures in mind, The Balancing Act thought about YOUR figures-- and has once again invited famous cookbook author and TV personality, Chef Nick Stellino to the program.  Tune in October 28th at 7:30am (EST/PST) as they air on the Lifetime Channel. Chef Stellino shares his personal story, and how it has put him not only on the path of healthier eating—but also on living a much healthier life.

The Balancing Act along with Chef Stellino are going to give out some much needed tips about how to cook healthy, and still create flavorful hearty meals while using Kitchen Basics cooking stocks. Chef Stellino says, “Better your lifestyle habits, and your eating habits. By simply adopting a standard of healthy eating, you and your family can reduce the risk for heart disease. By better I mean cooking with heart healthier ingredients – while holding on to the rich culinary flavors.”

Chef Stellino adds, “As a chef and in my training, stock has always been described as being homemade, rich, flavorful and good for you but it takes hours to make.  While broth has been a fill-in for stock and a time saver, many commercial broths are typically loaded with salt and MSG. I turn to Kitchen Basics, which is the originator of Stocks in America and has brought us Real Cooking Stocks that are all natural & slowly simmered from meat, vegetables & herbs.  They have no chemicals, no MSG, no fillers or artificial colorings.”
