Residential Building Collapse in Majorca Leaves at least Seven Dead

At least seven people have died and several more left injured following the collapse of a residential building in Majorca.

The collapse occurred in the capital city of Palma and rescue crews are now searching through the rubble of the three-story building in hopes of finding those still missing.

While only eight people were registered as residents at the building officials believe there were several more at the location at the time of the collapse.

There has been no word on what caused the collapse but some reports have suggested the 50-year-old building was in poor condition.
