Close-Up Talk Radio Spotlights Jacque Foreman of Foreman Graphics
Altedena, CA – Jacque Foreman is the Owner and Founder of Foreman Graphics. Established in 1972, her company’s mission is “to bring high quality graphics to individuals and small through mid-size businesses" as well as offer individually hand-created renderings of homes and commercial buildings with India ink on fine, Caslon water-color paper. Pet portraits are often done in quality color pencil on the same fine paper and people portraits are done in a combination of ink and pencil. Renderings and portraits are done from photographs.
Living by the motto, “where you always talk to the person who does the work,” which she learned is essential to ensuring the upmost quality and customer satisfaction. She handles all aspects of the business, including editing the weekly newsletter (for her Rotary Club), and creating logos, business stationery, graphic art, brochures and fliers.
Foreman Graphics brings a genuine interest in partnering with you to create a product that not only surpasses the competition, but also depicts a positive image for you and/or your company. With the ability to create designs, which are geared toward specific and targeted demographics, Jacque knows how to communicate through design.
Ms. Foreman is affiliated with the Crescenta Valley Chapter of Business Network International (BNI), the Altadena Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Altadena. Away from work, she volunteers with the Rotary Club of Altadena and Christmas Tree Lane.
Each year at Christmas time, Jacque spearheads a food and toy drive for her BNI Chapter. She coordinates this drive with the local Sheriff's station food and toy drive. When asked, she figures that she's been handling this project – which makes her BNI Chapter unique – since around 1997 or 1998. Her goal each year has been to have so many toys and so much food that the Sheriff's Deputy has to call for backup to transport the Chapter's donation to their collection point. She realized this dream December 2011. This past Christmas (December 2012) the deputy brought an SUV instead of his usual sedan. And, once again the generosity of her chapter and their guests filled the vehicle with non-perishable food and toys of all descriptions and sizes.
For her Rotary Club, she has been editor of their award-winning newsletter since 1997, webmaster of their award-winning website since about 2000 and has been handling remembrance – the sending of birthday, anniversary, get well and condolence cards – from about 2005.
In 1995, she served as president of the Altadena Chamber of Commerce and a member of the board for three or four years before that.
In the local networking community, Jacque is known for her rhyming introductions – often referred to as 60-second commercials. These she performs for herself and for those for whom she substitutes at other BNI chapters. One of these rhymes has been published in Ivan Misner's book, Seven Second Marketing.
As an addition to her business and to help her clients communicate better with their clients, Ms. Foreman is an independent distributor with SendOutCards and Comf5.

By the way, her first name is pronounced JayKwee – after a character in As You Like It.
