The UNLV Rebels (23-6) won their 13th straight home game upsetting the #14 Air Force Falcons (23-5) 60-50.
The Rebels dominated the glass throughout the game, holding a 42-28 advantage on the boards. UNLV was also strong from the foul-line as they hit 87 percent of their free-throws compared to 77 percent for the Falcons.
UNLV had big games from Joel Anthony and Wendell White to stay on track for an NCAA Tournament bid. Anthony finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds while White added 8 points and 10 boards.
Nick Welch had 15 points and 9 rebounds for Air Force.
The win improved the Rebels to 10-4 in the Mountain West Conference, one game behind BYU. The loss dropped the Falcons to 10-4 in the MWC, tied with UNLV.
